This week has been awesome. I got to the MTC on Wednesday and it was probably the longest day of my life! All we had was orentation after orentation but the lessons we had were all really good. I got my companion his name is Elder Heywood and he is from California. He is awesome and we get along really well and he’s super funny. We also got put in our district which has 12 missionaries made up of four sisters and eight brothers. Our district is great, my favorite missionaries in our district are Elder Mackenzie who's from Canada and Elder Fairey.
The second day was the second longest day of my life, it felt like it was going on forever. It was awesome the spirit we felt and how much we are learning about how to become better missionaries and people. The third day went by super fast it honestly felt like a regular day. After having the cafeteria food for three days it has gotten pretty bad they just serve you chicken in diffrent ways, like chicken sandwich, chicken alfredo, breaded chicken ect.
After those first couple days you get into the routine. We would have class from 8-30 to 11:30and then we would go to a work shop for an hour to gain more teaching skills. Next we would go to lunch which was usually chicken. Then you would do your personal study in the book of mormon and then your companion study for a couple hours. Next you would go to dinner and then class again from 6:45 to so thats pretty much all weve done for the first three days. Thank you to everyone that has sent me packages in the MTC “IM THAT GUY “ and love being “ That Guy” and it is fun sharing with my companions!
Love and miss you guys,
Elder McBride
